The main origin of this date is the city of Bam in Kerman Province, and the best quality of this variety usually comes from this region. It has a thin skin, a dark color (dark brown to black), a soft and semi-moist texture, and is mostly consumed in the form of rubt, not dried dates. Its nature is warm in traditional medicine and is considered very suitable for cold-tempered people and those who are physically weak or have anemia. In terms of nutritional value, it is rich in natural sugars, fiber, potassium, magnesium, and iron, and is used as an energy-giving and nutritious snack, especially during the month of Ramadan. Due to its relatively high humidity, it should be stored in a cool place (usually a refrigerator or cold storage) to maintain its shelf life and quality.<\/p>
